Chairman nominated for Impact award

Essel Group Chairman Subhash Chandra has been nominated for the ‘Impact Person of the Year- 2008’ award. The winner will be announced on December 17 in Mumbai.

In all, 25 nominees have been drawn for the ‘Impact Person of the Year 2008’ award. Chairman Subhash Chandra in amongst the nominees. He has been nominated among the media owners category. This is the fourth year of this annual initiative by ‘Impact’, India’s leading media, advertising and marketing weekly from the exchange4media Group. The winner will be announced at a grand ceremony in Mumbai on December 17.

Like the previous years, Nielsen is the partner research agency for this year as well. In the inaugural year Peter Mukerjee of INX won the title. Rajdeep Sardesai of CNN IBN and Vijay Mallya of UB Group won
the award in the following two years respectively.
