Medicine collection drive gets a kickstart

Esselites have whole-heartedly participated in the medicine collection drive undertaken for
Ekal Vidyalaya by the Essel Group.

Thousands of paracetamol tablets have been donated by Esselites for the children studying in the Ekal schools.

The first to contribute to this noble cause was a group from Playwin consisting of Dheeraj Gawade, Vishal Lamba, Vinod Chugale, Malay Kapoor, Rajgopal, Gautam, Vijay, Rohit, Vibhuti, Sangeeta, Pooja, Mrunaali, Omprakash and Jignesh. Joy Chakraborthy, President and Head, Revenue, ZEEL and his assistant Jayada Bapat, Tarun Mehra, Business Head, Zee TV, Yashodhara Katkar, Manager- Public Affairs, Essel Infra and Sairaj Jadhav are the other Esselites who have donated to this noble cause.

Situated in remote tribal areas, the children in the Ekal schools fall prey to common ailments as they do not have access to good health care. They are dependent upon the medicines provided by the Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation. This year, the Essel Group has taken up the responsibility to supply the total amount of paracetamol tablets required by Ekal.
