Zee News No. 1 again

Zee News Ltd, the country's largest news network, is also the country’s number one network. This is supported by the latest TAM ratings.

According to the latest data released by rating agency TAM, Zee News Ltd., consisting of Zee News, Zee Business, Zee 24Taas, Zee 24Ghanta and Zee 24Ghante Chattisgarh, is number one news network for the last 12 weeks over all other news networks across the country.

The TAM figures revealed that the Zee News Network channels lead the pack with a 2.6 percent market share, yet again emphasising the group's philosophy that good, sensible news content and ratings are not at conflict.

Zee News Ltd  CEO Barun Das said, "The incremental increase in the share in the TAM results indicates viewer's confidence in the channel. We appreciate the overwhelming response of the viewers and will continue to showcase relevant news. Zee News also has a strong regional focus and is the leader in top advertising markets such as Maharashtra, Bengal and Gujarat. It has gained impressive market share in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh and has successfully launched its Tamil venture.
