Laxmi Narain Goel

Laxmi Narain Goel, Managing Director, Zee News Limited, also holds the key position of Vice Chairman of the Essel Group. He is actively involved in the day-to-day developmental activities of the Group.

In a short span of time, Goel has steered Zee News into a formidable position that has made the channel a force to reckon with. With human-interest stories as the focus of his editorial policy, he has touched the hearts and lives of the common man.

Goel also delves into philanthropic work. He is a trustee of the Agroha Vikas Trust. He is also the trustee of the Delhi chapter of the Trust, which has take up several social causes including the building and running of colleges, schools and temples. He was also at the helm of affairs of the Sewak Sabha Hospital in Hissar (Haryana) for two years.
