dna celebrates World Photography Day with 'dna Photo Paths'

dna initiated 'Dna Photo Paths' a special initiative to celebrate World Photography Day. From asking readers to send in their entries, to organizing a workshop and concluding it with a two day exhibition at R City Mall, Ghatkopar, the initiative, covered the entire ecosystem of photography.

Having received close to 200 entries, the selection of the winning pictures was not easy. However, we got the best in the industry to do the task for us - after the first screening by an internal jury, the final selection was made by famous photographer Vaibhav Mehta, who freelances for various leading publications in India, including Lonely Planet, National Geographic Traveler.

The judges have selected the top shots for four categories: wildlife, nature and landscape, culture and architecture and heritage and the winning photographs with their credits were published in the dna of travel page on Sunday, 23rd August.

The initiative was concluded with a special workshop on photography that was organized by dna for its readers, followed by a two day exhibition of selected entries, at R City mall, Ghatkopar.
