Essel Vision creates history at IFFI, Goa
Essel Vision creates an unprecedented history at 45th International film festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, with a whopping 4 films selected officially to be screened at the festival.
After breaking consecutive box office records by its three thunderous hits Duniyadari, Timepass & Lai Bhaari and shaking the tough ground of Bollywood in Maharashtra, Essel Vision enters into the much coveted Film Festival circuit with a big bang. Its films - Elizabeth Ekadashi, Dr. Prakash Baba Amte, Lokmanya Ek Yugpurush and Killa have at once made their entry into the 'Official Selection' of the much respected film festival of India. The respective directors, Paresh Mokashi, Samrouddhi Porey, Om Raut & Avinash Arun were overjoyed to share this extremely proud moment with Essel Vision & Zee.
Festival accolade is not new for Essel Vision. Last year, Essel's film Fandry directed by Nagraj Manjule made its presence felt at all major national & international film festivals and won coveted awards like - Grand Jury Prize & Special Mention at MAMI, 5 Awards at PIFF and 2 National Awards. But with this unforeseen presence that hasn't been achieved ever by any media house in India, the production house has turned many heads. With this, Essel Vision has struck a fine balance between commercial success and critical acclaim, an aim the company had put its best foot forward with.
