Fun Cinemas joins hands with 'We Care Trust'

Fun Cinemas joins hands with 'We Care Trust' every year on International Thalassemia Day since the past 8 years to bring awareness about the genetically acquired disorder 'Thalassemia' among children.

This year a special screening of the film 'Stanley Ka Dabba'  was arranged for the Thalassemia afflicted children on 13th May, Sunday at Fun Cinemas, Andheri. Celebrities like Dilip Joshi, Shyam Pathak, Vishal Malhotra with his wife Rashi, Rozlyn Khan, Vije Bhatia and singer Rageshwari came together to interact with and entertain the children suffering from this condition.

Commented Dilip Joshi, "I will surely request my producer Mr. Asit Modi to prepare a script and spread awareness about this disease called Thalassemia as our show always highlights important issues happening in the society. This is also an important issue to be talked about. But don't forget, laughter is the best medicine for all the problems."

While Dilip Joshi and Shyam Pathak had a blast making kids laugh by tickling their funny bone, Vishal Malhotra won them over with his anecdotes. Rageshwari sang her all time famous song 'Maine dekhe hai hazaron rang duniya ke'. She also called some kids on the stage to dance along with her on the song Wakka wakka'. Vije Bhatia and Rozlyn Khan danced with the kids on the song Mauja hi Mauja'.
