It's Aussie Season on Living Foodz - Cricketer Michael Clarke joined duo Rocky & Mayur at the launch of their upcoming show 'Rocky & Mayur's Offbeat Australia'

It's Aussie season on Living Foodz! The leading lifestyle channel Living Foodz organized an event with legendary Australian batsman Michael Clarke and India's favourite foodie duo Rocky & Mayur, in collaboration with Tourism Australia. The fun-filled event was held at Mojo's Bistro in Mumbai and was a perfect amalgamation of food and cricket.

The event kicked-off with the unveiling of an exclusive promo of 'Rocky & Mayur's Offbeat Australia', which is set to air around mid-September on Living Foodz. The globe-trotting pair set out to Australia for some much-needed R&R and will be seen travelling across the Northern Territory, South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia on the show.

Living Foodz also organized a contest on Twitter wherein two lucky winners got the chance to meet the legendary Australian cricketer Michael Clarke.

Rocky & Mayur, challenged Michael to try his hand at making India's most popular street food- Pani Puri! The trio also enjoyed a game of the popular Indian sport Gilli-Danda. The duo then tested Michael's knowledge about India through a grilling rapid fire round. In turn, Michael quizzed Rocky & Mayur about Australia and their 'Offbeat' Aussie experience.

"Rocky & Mayur's Offbeat Australia' is very different from our other shows as it will allow viewers to get a glimpse into our lives while we are on a vacation! We had an exciting Aussie experience right from taking-on new adventures, to enjoying the amazing cuisine and breath-taking locales. We were delighted to collaborate with Michael Clarke for unveiling the show and had a great time sharing Indo-Aussie anecdotes, as well as trying on some really quintessentially Indian challenges.  We look forward to the launch of the show and sharing our journey with the viewers", said Rocky & Mayur.

Commenting on the fun-filled extravaganza, Michael Clarke says, "It gives me great pleasure to visit India as part of the 'Friend Of Australia' program which allows me a chance to inspire travel enthusiasts to visit the beautiful country. Tourism Australia has undertaken several initiatives as part of the brand campaign, 'There's Nothing Like Australia' which has helped in promoting unique experiences across the country. Australia has some of the best aquatic & coastal activities, unique nature & wildlife as well as exceptional food and wine options that travellers can explore. These remarkable adventures have been captured beautifully and are highlighted in the show, 'Rocky & Mayur's Offbeat Australia'. The extremely promising duo highlight the numerous flavours across Australia in an upbeat and fun method. I am sure the show will further reiterate Australia's position as a food capital of the world among potential travellers from India."
