SRK is dishtv’s brand ambassador
October 10, 2007: Shah Rukh Khan has
been signed on dishtv’s brand ambassador. The star, along
with his palatial mansion in Mumbai, will feature in
dishtv’s new television commercial campaign which will air
from October 7 onwards.
“Shah Rukh is a natural fit with the personality of the
brand as we are harbingers of entertainment in this
country and there is none better than him to symbolise the
epitome of entertainment in India,” Arun Kumar Kapoor,
CEO, dishtv, said.
“The campaign will comprise a media blitzkrieg that dishtv
has not seen before. It will be a 360 degree campaign with
a large amount of above the line (ATL) and some amount of
below the line (BTL) activities including on-ground
activities and promotional merchandising,” Anjali Malhotra
Nanda, VP (Marketing), dishtv, said.
The hi-blitz new advertising campaign with a renewed
‘avatar’ will have a pervasive theme. dishtv hopes the
move will reinforce the attributes of its brand and
reiterate its positioning in the face of the competition
coming over the next one year.
“We are sure that our new campaign with Shah Rukh Khan
will not only strike a chord in the consumers’ hearts but
also have them further strengthen their belief in the
dishtv brand promise,” added Nanda.
