Mount Litera Zee School celebrates International Day of Yoga at 35 schools across India
Mount Litera Zee School (MLZS), India's fastest growing network in private-unaided category of K12 schools celebrated International Day of Yoga by practising and creating awareness about yoga and its benefits. 35 MLZS spread across India commemorated the memorable day by organising free yoga camps which were open to all students and parents of the region. Various yoga experts were driving the camp, educated participants on adopting yoga for physical and mental wellbeing.
MLZS and its students conducted this camp in line with government's vision of promoting yoga in everyday life. The aim of the camp was to celebrate and spread the ancient Indian heritage of yoga, its benefits and bliss among people across India. Last year, MLZS supported this initiative by conducting various activities on International Day of Yoga which was commended by parents and students alike. This year too, MLZS supported this initiative with a belief that yoga could help children and parents discover the benefits of yoga for learning and development. The students also demonstrated yoga for participants, to help them learn and perform together.
Leader in education sector, MLZS aims at holistic development of students, while it provides best education in the sector, the schools also believe that extracurricular is an indispensable part of growth. With 89 schools in 75 cities, MLZS has constantly focused on providing education that extends beyond the conventional norms, to activities touching the areas of sports, art and culture. Going further, MLZS would strongly continue to expand its footprint and ensure that every Indian child is imparted the best of holistic K-12 education.
