Mount Litera Zee School Farrukhabad Students Shine in Sports

Win laurels for the school and qualify to for the state & national level tournaments

Yesh Kataria and Vaishnavy Singh of Mount Litera Zee School Farrukhabad, U.P,  emerged as flag bearers of the Mount Litera name as they qualified for national and state level tournaments respectively. Vaishnavy Singh, a grade 6 student, bagged the Gold Medal in the 50 meters rifle shooting event (sub junior girls category) at the district level shooting championship held at the Rajput Regiment Center in Farrukhabad. Yesh Kataria, again from Grade 6 qualified in the under 11 category for the 6th Mini National Roll Ball Championship to be held at Indore, Madhya Pradesh from 2nd -4th January 2015.

"I have always been interested in shooting. My family members are very supportive and encouraged me to take up this sport. The school also supports this ambition with good facilities and training. I hope to develop further and maybe even represent India at the Olympics one day." said Vaishnavi Singh who won the Gold Medal in Shooting and would represent the school at the state championship.

"This is a proud moment for us as it is a great achievement, not only for Yesh and Vaishnavy but for the entire school given that we are only a year old. The drive and determination of the students is remarkable. We try our best to provide these students with the best of facilities so that they can win many more laurels for the school. The way things are going, I'm confident that this is just the beginning of many more good things to come in the future" said the proud and elated Principal of MLZS, Farrukhabad.
