Mount Litera Zee School, Nirman Vihar Celebrate Children's Day With President Of India

As part of the Children's Day celebration at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the President of India, Hon'ble Shri Pranab Mukherjee opened his doors to meet children of various schools around Delhi and NCR. The students of Mount Litera Zee School, Nirman Vihar were among the few to be invited for this special interaction session with the President.

The day began with a guided tour of the majestic Rashtrapati Bhavan where the children were explained about the construction philosophy and the contribution of its chief architect Sir. Edward Lutyens. They then had a presidential address where the President told the children to be fearless and chase their dreams with full enthusiasm. This was followed by short schoolwise interaction session where they gave some specially made cards to the President. The children were really excited after this interaction and thanked the President and his staff for this hospitality.

“It was a great experience for the children as well as us to meet the President in person. His simplicity and humbleness was really admirable. He really encouraged the children to focus on their dreams and work hard toward fulfilling it. We look forward to many such interactions with him in the future also.

This was the second time that the children of this school were given an opportunity to meet with important dignitaries in the government. Earlier in August, the students had tied rakhis to Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan
