Mumbai FC u19 finish Runners Up in MDFA Super Division

Mumbai FC U 19 won its last MDFA Super Division match against the Mumbai Warriors on Sunday, 12th April at St. Xavier's Ground, Parel. The team earned a hard fought victory as they beat a determined Mumbai Warriors 2-1.

Warriors took the lead early in the first half as their players took advantage of a defensive lapse on a sloppy area of the MDFA pitch. The Warriors sat back for the rest of the match trying to defend their lead.

The equalizer for Mumbai came 20 minutes from time in the form of a goal from Prince Anandraj who also went on to score the winner in the last quarter of the game.

The team finished the Super Division playoffs with 11 points, same as Air India u19 but due to a lower goal average finished as runners up.

The Mumbai FC u19 have gone unbeaten for 13 games starting from January this year.
