Mumbai FC under-19 win Exhibition Match against Churchill Bros. under-19

Mumbai FC's under-19 team won an exhibition match held at the All Saints High School in Kalyan against the Churchill Brothers under-19 team on 6th June, 2015.

The closely contested match between the colts of India's two elite clubs ended in a 2-1 victory for Mumbai as goals from Nachiket Palav and Ronak Patel were enough to keep Churchill Brothers at bay.

The match was attended by The Flying Sikh of India, Milkha Singh.

Kundan Chandra, Head Of Youth Development at Mumbai FC opined, "It was a tough match but it was a perfect ending to our season. The boys played well. We could probably have avoided conceding the goal too but it's okay as long as we won."

Talking about the upcoming season, Chandra commented, "We are looking to become stronger and realistically challenge for the under-19 I-League next season. The only way to achieve that is by practicing and playing as much as we can before the league begins."
