Zee Carnival to mark 10 years in US

Zee USA is all set to celebrate its tenth anniversary. The channel will hold the Zee Carnival 2008 at New Jersey from August 30 to September 1, 2008 to mark the event. Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan will grace the occasion.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary in the USA market, Zee TV brings Zee Carnival to the Meadowlands Expo Center (355, Plaza Drive, Secaucus, NJ 07094) from August 30 to September 1. Zee Carnival is a lifestyle exhibition, under one roof, with the very best in entertainment, fashion and flavors from the sub-continent.

Zee Carnival will include appearances of Mega Bollywood stars like Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan along with prime-time television celebrities such as Ram Kapoor, Sharad Kelkar, Roshni Chopra, Kirti Gaekwad and many more. An autograph stage specially built to the purpose will host the stars and provide a lifetime opportunity to attendees to get autographs/photographed with their favorite stars. Current winners of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Challenge USA 2008 along with star singer Mauli will perform at the Zee Carnival. Each day there will be at least two fashion shows show-casing the very best in the sub continental dress sense.

Celebrity chef, Sanjeev Kapoor of Khana Khazana fame, will demonstrate his mouth-watering recipes twice a day. Dr. Pankaj Naram, world renowned advisor of Ayurvedic Cure will host three lectures/ workshops a day.

Zee Carnival, now a regular feature in UK and Singapore is expected to open new vistas for businesses targeting not only the sub-continental Diasporas but also mainstream possibilities. In keeping with its value for ‘family entertainment’ tickets have been priced at an affordable $25 per adult and $10 per child.

The carnival expects about 20,000 attendees in the duration of the three days.
