Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented music album 'Shanti Samsara' towards India's commitment towards a healthy environment, produced by Zee Music Company
Zee Music Company, a division under Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited gets the prestigious opportunity to produce the music album 'Shanti Samsara' - World Music for Environmental Consciousness, launched at the COP21 conference - Paris by our Hon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was presented to President of France, Francois Hollande. The album celebrates nature through different cultures around the world with 300 musicians, including seven Grammy winners all coming together to create environmental consciousness.

Shanti Samsara has been composed by GrammyÂ® Award Winner Ricky Kej and features Sanskrit verses, spoken word by Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Hollywood actress Frances Fisher and BAFTA Awards winner Rosanna Arquette. It has country music legend Gary Nicholson, acclaimed Canadian singer Jennifer Gasoi and renowned S. African flautist Wouter Kellerman. This album has Zulu verses by GrammyÂ® Award Winning Soweto Gospel Choir, Rumi verses and Turkish verses. The album also features celebrated Asian musicians from China, Vietnam, Japan, Korea and the feted voices of India's own Shankar Mahadevan and Hariharan - all blending into the harmony for Environmental Consciousness.
Zee Music Company has been associated with the biggest Bollywood blockbusters, with this collaboration it reaches out to a global audience which is a first for any Indian Music Label.
