The Economic Times recognizes Essel Infraprojects Ltd as The Best Infrastructure Brand!
The Economic Times awarded Essel Infraprojects Ltd (EIL) with The Best Infrastructure Brand Award 2016 at The Economic Times Infra Focus Summit, which was hosted in New Delhi yesterday.
Mr. K P Maheshwari, CEO, Essel Highways Ltd. and Mr. Vishal Sharma, Head, Brand & Corporate Communication, received the award from Mr. Mansukh Lal Mandaviyat, MoS, Ministry of Road Transport, Highways and Shipping, at the gala event last evening. The other brands recognized at the event included Reliance Infrastructure, Tata Projects and GMR Group, amongst others.
This award distinguishes top performing companies in the infrastructure sector and recognizes those who have risen to multiple challenges like increasing interest rates, stagnant order inflows, inflation and choked profitability. The brands were shortlisted based on several criteria like order book value, projects delivered, timely execution, innovation, quality of projects delivered, diversity of projects, execution capabilities, ethical business practices and media visibility. The evaluation was then conducted in association with KPMG, which was The Economic Times' knowledge and research partner.
Speaking about this achievement, Mr. Ashok Agarwal, CEO & Director, EIL, said, "Being recognized by a prestigious entity such as The Economic Times is ample testimony to the work carried out by Essel Infra in the field of infrastructure. We hope to carry on the good work and achieve new milestones to further exceed expectations."
This award comes in quick succession to other industry recognitions from prestigious bodies like Smart City Council of India, World CSR Congress, Golden Peacock Awards and IAMAI. It's indeed encouraging to see our efforts not just getting acknowledged, but also rewarded at prestigious industry forums. To continue this journey of excellence, let's pledge to go the extra mile and come up with innovative solutions that can bring about a transformational change in the lives of our people.
