ZEE brings on board Taj Television, India's largest distribution network

Zindagi, the new channel for premium mass audience, its latest addition

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEE), the world's leading Indian Television Network with 730+ million viewers in 169 countries adds another feather to its cap by bringing on board India's largest distribution network, Taj Television India Pvt. Ltd. (Taj Television), a subsidiary. Taj Television is India's largest distribution agency and has a powerful repertoire of over 47 leading television channels. This includes well-known brands belonging to ZEE, Zee Media Corporation Limited and Turner International India Private Limited. Taj Television distributes channels which are leaders in 15 out of the 19 markets and it has 9 Leadership channels across 8 genres.

Zindagi, a ZEE channel, the latest channel to be distributed by Taj Television, reinforces the vision of ZEE's corporate philosophy 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - The world is my family' and aims to unite people in India and across the world with shows produced overseas.

Taj Television distributes ZEE's well-known brands like Zee TV, Zee Cinema, &pictures, Ten Sports, Zee Cafe, Zee Studio, Zing and a powerful repertoire of regional language channels including Zee Marathi, Zee Bangla, Zee Telugu, Zee Kannada and Zee Tamizh, besides the HD channels like Zee TV HD, Zee Cinema HD, Zee Studio HD and Ten HD. Taj Television also distributes channels of Zee Media Corporation, the largest news network in India with two national and eight regional channels. These channels are available across the country. Taj is also distributing the leading channels in the kid's space and English movie segment, including HBO, Cartoon Network, Pogo, CNN and Warner Brothers as an authorized agent of Turner International.

Taj Television's latest addition, Zindagi aims to showcase real, friendly, vibrant and premium stories of those from across the world that share similar cultural backgrounds, morals and values that are also intrinsic to India. The channel proposition 'Jodey Dilon Ko' is based on the fact that even if people across the globe are culturally different, the stories of their lives are universal. It kicks off with the collection of the best shows picked from across the border that embrace universal emotions. Zindagi is all set for the first ever National launch for a Hindi language channel, as the company believes that the stories showcased on this channel will appeal to the audiences even in Southern India.
