A leading player in core education sector, Zee Learn wins the prestigious title of 'Unique Company Initiative' at the 'India's Best Companies to Work for' study 2012. Zee Learn has been awarded the title for the company's initiatives on 'What's right for the child' (WRFC). It has won the title amongst the 543 organizations registered for this year's study.
The study has been conducted by Great Place to Work Institute, a research of the best workplaces across the globe from employees' point of view. The study also identifies and acknowledges the unique initiatives taken by a company which has contributed to the success and growth of the company and which is reflected in the company's work culture. Zee Learn achieved this through its unique initiative of 'What's right for the Child' (WRFC).
Mr Sumeet Mehta, CEO of Zee Learn said, "It is certainly a great privilege and honor to have achieved this award at such an early stage. It gives us immense sense of pride to be recognized for what we as a company stand for. Our 'What's right for the child' culture is the DNA that binds us to our internal and external stakeholders alike. It guides and drives us in everything that we do and is reflected in our purpose as well as policies, practices and procedures across ventures."
"Being at the core of the business, WRFC philosophy not only enables us to meet our responsibility towards every child but also imbues in employees, a sense of being committed to something higher than their job. This ensures that all actions of all employees and the extended eco-system of franchisees are consistent with our purpose of improving human capital," added Mr Mehta.
Zee Learn Limited tops the rank in the 'Unique Company Initiative' category among other companies such as Qualcomm India Pvt Ltd, Aegis Ltd, DCB Bank and BOC India Limited.
Ms Nitya Ramaswami, Head of Academics and Child Development at Zee Learn said, "WRFC has made us pioneers in organized pre-schooling in India with Kidzee- now India's no 1 chain of pre-schools where a child discovers love for learning and becomes aware of his preferences in a supportive and safe environment that has affected the child centered curriculum that is age appropriate and follows multiple intelligence approach. In case of Mount Litera Zee Schools, Zee Learn follows an integrated approach towards learner centric education."
"This ensures that all components of schooling methodology, teacher competence, assessment, infrastructure, extra/co-curricular and parents- come together to deliver what is best for the child," added Ms Nitya Ramaswami.« Back
