Zee News extends its India First Campaign
To take forth its India First campaign, this time through the platform of music and culture, Zee News is promoting the thought of Unity, Progress and Prosperity in India. Zee News along with the Ustad Mushtaq Ali Khan centre for Culture, organized a special curtain raiser concert on March 30, at Azaad Bhawan, ICCR, in New Delhi.

The concert featured a unique and special jugalbandi between renowned Shehnai Maestro Pandit Daya Shankar and distinguished Sitar expert Pandit Prateek Chaudhari, who were for the first time together on stage. It was a rare combination of the Shehnai and Sitar by two famous Maestros. Not only this, the maestros were accompanied by the reputed Tabla whiz of the country, Ustad Akram Khan.

To top it all, the exciting jugalbandi was followed by an interesting interaction and tete with ace Kathak artist Pandit Birju Maharaj in 'Moments with the Kathak Legend'.

The music legends spoke about the Zee News initiative India First. They took the oath that 'Art is a great medium to unite the nation', they also spoke about how music and culture is depleting the barriers amongst the citizens of India. According to them, the initiative has helped build stronger cultural relationships.
